At Salamat Welfare foundation, we are committed to achieving legal and systemic change that addresses violence and discrimination against women and girls around the world. Our vision is a world in which women and men have equal rights under the law, and full enjoyment of their human rights. We believe that the law should promote equality rather than codify misogyny, and that constitutions should respect human rights rather than embed discrimination.

Our Mission

Our mission is based on, principles of equality, anti-discrimination, inclusion, autonomy, and dignity. We strive to be inclusive in our human-rights focused legal analysis and actions, recognizing the intersectionality of discrimination based on sex, race, ethnicity, religion or belief, health status, age, class, caste, sexual orientation, and gender identity. Through transparency, accountability, integrity, and solidarity, we work towards a world free from discrimination.
